The Chelsea Society has been invited to a Reception by the Ambassador of Spain to the Court of St. James, His Excellency Seňor Carlos Bastarreche, at his official Residence, 24 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8QA, which contains many fine examples of European art.

Thursday 6th September 5.45 – 8pm

There will be an opportunity to discuss with diplomatic staff matters of common interest between our two countries, and there will be a lecture by the curator of the Spanish Gallery Auckland Project – one of the most important private collections in the UK of Spanish art from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.  This will open in Durham in 2019.

Tickets £10, (to include a glass of wine), from the Box Office of the Cadogan Hall in person, or by post with cheque payable to Cadogan Hall at 5 Sloane Terrace, London SW1X 9DQ , or by phone 0207-730-4500 (not online).  For security reasons the names of members and guests must be given at the time of booking.

The Embassy is very kindly making no charge to The Chelsea Society for this event, so the proceeds of ticket sales will be allocated to the Society’s charitable funds.

Members may bring guests, who will be admitted free of charge if they bring a completed application form for membership of the Society.  This can be downloaded from http://chelseasociety.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Membership-and-DD-form-pdf-21-6-18.pdf
