Sir Thomas was one of Chelsea’s most famous residents, who lost his head when he resisted the secular power of the time.
He worshipped at Chelsea Old Church, which contains his private chapel.
A film was made about him, starring Paul Scofield, Wendy Hiller, and Robert Shaw.
“A Man for All Seasons” was shown at Chelsea’s Everyman Cinema on Monday 5th July for an invited audience.
