Currently 3 vaccination centres are operating within RBKC. Namely, Violet Melchett Centre in Flood Walk, Earls Court Medical Centre and at St. Charles Hospital. Each one has been receiving notice of vaccine delivery and then booking patients accordingly. We understand the delivery rate of vaccine will increase as of next week. All residents are contacted by the NHS Central Booking service and offered a slot along with information about when to arrive and where to go. The vast majority of people will receive this information via a letter posted to their home, others are receiving calls directly. There are a number of scams going around and it is crucial that residents know that the NHS will never request payment or invite people to click on links via messages sent to their phones.
A COVID-19 hub has been set up for residents to get the help and support they need from the Council and Kensington and Chelsea’s voluntary organisations, with one number to call – 020 7361 4326.
