Dovehouse Green is being maintained and improved, with the support of The Chelsea Society.
On 4th May 2022 RBKC advised:
- The lifting and relaying of the York stone paving at the front of Dovehouse Green is now complete the benches are now being fixed in the new v- formation. Just to let you know we have however agreed to move the benches positions slightly. In the Andy Sturgeon design, some of the benches were positioned directly under the canopy of the London Plane trees in an area that would have suffered badly from bird droppings and made the benches unusable, and it is for that reason the bench positions have been moved. The front area will be reopened to the public on Friday 6th May.
- FM Conway’s will then complete the remaining path works 9th – 13th May
- The ducting for the new lighting will then commence 16th May with an estimated completion date of 28th May.
- The bollard lighting installation and planting will follow on from this dates TBC.
