with Guy Fairbank 11am-12.30. Places limited, but Members may bring guests. Price £10pp.
Explore the quiet streets off the King’s Road. On this 90-minute stroll we’ll meet Noël Coward’s muse, a giant of the Art Nouveau movement, the site of ‘Folk Rock Motown’, a stylish designer couple, an eccentric architect, and the studio where an iconic album cover was designed.
Guy is an award-winning Blue Badge Guide and City of London Guide, with a wide interest in London’s history. He’s particularly drawn to Chelsea, with its extraordinary artistic history, having worked for several years in Flood Street and Draycott Avenue. He’s already led a couple of walks around SW3 and has two more in preparation.
