An important new book has just been published, which traces the history of the Cadogan family from the time when they were Welsh warlords after the Romans withdrew from Britain, until (almost) the present day when they own 93 acres of Chelsea and play such an important part in the life of our community.
It is a fascinating story of more than 1,000 years of history and the author, Tamsin Perrett, will meet with us to discuss this remarkable family at 6-8pm on Thursday 13th February 2025 in the Library at Auriens, 2 Dovehouse Street, SW3
Tickets £25 (to include a glass of wine) available from the Box Office of the Cadogan Hall, 3 Sloane Terrace, London, SW1X 9DQ in person, or by phone 0207-730-4500 (booking not available online). NB. The meeting is at Auriens, not at the Cadogan Hall.
As space is limited, each member may bring only one guest.
