The Chelsea Society was represented by Jules Turner, Member of its Planning Committee for Royal Hospital Ward, at the “Topping Out” ceremony on 29th June at the new building on the Kings Road on the site of the former Kings Walk shopping centre. The owners, Crosstree, had engaged with the Society at the design stage, and we think the new building will be an improvement on the undistinguished 1970s building which was there before.
