The trend for airbnb and other sites such as onefinestay is an excellent way to travel the world and to share each other’s way of life. It makes us all hoteliers in one fell swoop. However local governments and councils around the world are dealing with the impact on local communities of having a revolving door of travellers dispersed across neighbourhoods. Policies are being reviewed, adapted, adopted and created to try to cater for this new emerging sector.
